RotoSpa is a family owned and operated business. Our mission is to produce portable spas that are hard wearing, low maintenance and economical but still fully equipped to provide a professional level of hydro therapy that  ensures they represent excellent value for their owners.

After building spas for over 15 years using fibreglass, acrylic, polyethylene and concrete construction, the "DuraSpa"  was developed along with the "QuatroSpa" to meet the increasing demand for truly portable spas.
In the past 3 years production at the Australian plant has trebled and we now have a network of dealers across Australia,  plus an increasing export market as awareness of these portable spas and their health and lifestyle advantages continues to spread.  Due to the growing demand for spas in the UK we now have a plant here in the Midlands where we will be manufacturing a new portable yet powerful two person "DuoSpa" to complement our product range and introduce relaxation and luxury to lifestyles for less!

Unique design and construction   

With the big shift in demand from "installed" to "portable" spas, most manufacturers simply installed their regular spas into a timber box and called it portable. Many of these require up to 8 people or a small crane to handle and become too difficult and too expensive to move. In addition the timber boxes and frames are easily damaged and can deteriorate rapidly from weather, wood worm or rotting, requiring regular and costly maintenance or repairs.

RotoSpa, on the other hand, was started with a clean sheet, and a set of objectives resulting in an innovative spa, designed and developed from the outset as a true portable. It had to be: -

Light enough for 1 or 2 people to handle.

Tough enough to resist damage when moved.

Therapeutic, low maintenance and affordable for many more people.

Following the principal of modern unitary car construction to achieve reduced weight, higher strength and lower costs, RotoSpa utilises an advanced R.I.M. (Rotary Integrated Moulding) process to form the spa, the surrounds and the base all in one piece. This totally eliminates the need for timber or metal framing and the problem of rotting, cracking and corrosion.  The entire moulding is made from Duralon, which is a semi rigid polythene based, thermal plastic resin with special additives that generate an  A.P.F. (Aerated Plastic Foam) core during the moulding process.

Our hot tubs are therefore not only around half the weight of equivalent acrylic and fibreglass spas, but many times tougher and with excellent heat and noise insulation qualities. Being the same material all the way through it also can't suffer from delamination and osmosis problems. The granite look finish is not only attractive and easy to clean but is chemically resistant and UV stable.

We are recognised by industry members  as a world leader in the field. As expected other companies are beginning to follow the lead but they are now some years behind in their development of the technology. However, it does serve to reinforce our faith in this as the way of the future for portable spas.

The unique "DuraSpa" design exhibits modern, soft flowing lines with rounded corners and curved sides incorporating removable cedar panels.  It's shape has been carefully contoured to provide smooth full depth seating, natural reclining positions and a special therapy seat. Features also include supporting armrests, padded headrests and safety handrails, plus an entry step that

doubles as a small child's seat and a foot massage section in the floor well. It is the first truly portable five person spa with two loungers - one deep captain’s seat and two hydro therapy seats. The revolutionary design makes DuraSpa totally unique. An advanced RIM (Rotational Integrated Mould) moulding process is used to form the spa, the surrounds and the base in one

piece, thus reducing weight, increasing strength and lowering cost with excellent heat and noise insulation – all great news for our  customers. The unique design also eliminates the rotting, cracking and corrosion problems which often affects many other spas. Finished in an attractive granite effect, DuraSpa is easy to clean, chemically resistant and UV stable. It’s the first truly portable, hard wearing, low maintenance and economical 5 person spa that’s fully equipped to provide a professional level of hydro therapy.

Due to today’s society of urban living and hectic lifestyles, RotoSpa felt some people were discouraged by the impression
that Spa's are expensive, unwieldy, bulky, hard to move, install and maintain. We identified a desire for a Spa that is light, compact, affordable, attractive and provides a professional level
of hydrotherapy.

From this vision The DuoSpa was born. The DuoSpa breaks the mould and is truly unique. Its revolutionary design means its affordable, attractive, light, portable and durable while providing world class hydrotherapy. Introducing a lifetime of luxury, hydrotherapy and relaxation to enjoy in the comfort of your own home (or even balcony).

The DuoSpa weighs only 90kg (approx), and fits through a standard door frame. When empty, it can be easily moved by two people and with a 500-550 litre capacity can be filled with water within half an hour. Economical running costs mean that you can enjoy your DuoSpa at any time, by simply whisk the cover off and immerse yourself in water temperatures of up to 40°c. A fantastic feeling after a long day, particularly in those long winter months when the differences between the ambient temperature and the tub temperature are at their greatest.

Whether for relaxation therapy or just good fun, the QuatroSpa is an economical and simple to use, portable spa, with seating for 5-6 people and an attractive low maintenance decoratorive surround.

The simple "QuatroSpa" style includes weather resistant marine vinyl decorator surrounds and incorporates a special reclining therapy seat and large entry step for easy access. Weighing only 150kg, it can be rolled, lifted or slid into just about any space, and can be complimented by a selection of optional crafted timber accessories.

Whether for relaxation, or therapy, or just good fun, the QuatroSpa has been carefully contoured to provide smooth, full depth seating and a generous footwell, for the most natural resting position. Various spa system options combine the latest high volume, adjustable rotating spa jets, while a special reclining therapy seat will provide a unique massage for even the tallest people.

It is not only durable and economical due to it’s insulated construction and available in a choice of colours and specifications.
